Refund Policy

    This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all purchase and subscription transactions made on the WickLog platform at https://wicklog.in ("Service"). This Policy is subject to and construed in accordance with:

    • Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
    • Information Technology Act, 2000
    • Indian Contract Act, 1872
    • Reserve Bank of India guidelines applicable to payment aggregators

    All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (an RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator). WickLog does not store, handle, or have direct access to your payment card or net banking credentials.


    1. General Policy — No-Refund Rule

    WickLog operates under a strict no-refund policy. All payments — including subscription fees and Ticker Credit purchases — are non-refundable except as expressly provided in Section 3 of this Policy.

    By completing a payment, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

    • You have reviewed the features and limitations of your chosen plan prior to purchase
    • A free tier is available for evaluation before any paid commitment is made
    • The Service is a digital product that is immediately accessible upon payment, and you thereby waive any statutory "cooling-off" period that may otherwise apply under consumer protection law to the extent permitted by applicable Indian law

    2. Subscription Plans

    3. Circumstances Under Which a Refund May Be Considered

    Notwithstanding the general no-refund rule in Section 1, WickLog may, at its sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, consider a refund or account credit under the following limited circumstances:

    3.1 Technical Error — Duplicate Charge

    If you are charged more than once for a single transaction due to a payment processor error, WickLog will investigate and, upon confirmation, process a refund for the duplicate amount to your original payment instrument within 7–10 business days.

    How to claim: Email sachin@wicklog.in with subject "Duplicate Charge — Refund Request" within 7 days of the charge, attaching:

    • Razorpay Payment ID(s)
    • Bank/card statement screenshot showing the duplicate charge

    3.2 Service Non-Delivery

    If a Pro subscription or Ticker Credit purchase is completed and payment is confirmed by Razorpay, but the corresponding feature or credits are not activated in your account within 48 hours due solely to a WickLog system error, you may request a refund or manual activation.

    How to claim: Email sachin@wicklog.in with subject "Service Non-Delivery" within 7 days of payment, providing your Razorpay Payment ID.

    3.3 Mandatory Statutory Refund Rights

    Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any refund rights you may have under mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law that cannot be contracted out of. If you believe you are entitled to a statutory refund, you may contact us or approach the appropriate consumer forum.


    4. Expressly Non-Refundable Situations

    The following situations are explicitly excluded from any refund consideration:

    • Change of mind after purchase
    • Failure to use the Service or its features during the subscription period
    • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content, trade sync accuracy, or analytics output
    • Account suspension or termination for violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
    • Downtime, maintenance windows, or broker API sync failures during the subscription period
    • Cancellation of a subscription mid-cycle
    • Loss of Ticker Credits due to usage, expiry upon account deletion, or account suspension
    • Any financial loss, trading loss, or opportunity cost arising from use of the Service

    5. How to Request a Refund

    For any refund request that falls within Section 3:

    1. Email sachin@wicklog.in with subject: Refund Request — [Your Registered Email]
    2. Include the following:
      • Your full name and registered email address
      • Razorpay Payment ID or order ID (found in your email receipt)
      • Date of the transaction
      • Reason for the refund request and supporting evidence
    3. WickLog will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a decision within 10 business days

    Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment instrument (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet) used for the purchase. Refund processing timelines after approval are subject to Razorpay and your bank's processing times, typically 5–10 business days.


    6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

    If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting WickLog as provided in Section 5, WickLog reserves the right to:

    • Immediately suspend or terminate your account
    • Dispute the chargeback through Razorpay's dispute resolution mechanism
    • Recover any outstanding amounts through legal means

    Raising a chargeback for amounts that WickLog is not obligated to refund under this Policy constitutes a breach of the Terms of Service.


    7. Cancellation of Subscription

    You may cancel your Wicklog Pro subscription at any time through the Settings → Subscription page. Upon cancellation:

    • Your Pro subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
    • Your account will automatically revert to the free tier on the next renewal date
    • No partial or pro-rata refund is provided for the unused portion of the current billing period
    • Any Ticker Credits purchased separately remain in your account and are not refunded upon subscription cancellation

    8. Changes to This Policy

    WickLog reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to transactions completed before the effective date of the revision.
